Brief Biography of Umar Lawal Aliyu:
Umar Lawal Aliyu is presently a Professor at LIGS University USA, lecturing BBA, MBA, DBA, and Ph.D. students. He guides and assists students with their seminar papers, publication activity, and dissertation thesis by supervising, evaluating, and assessing the relevance and scientific side of their thesis. He is again a Professor at SMC University Switzerland, taking Masters and PhD students in various fields of studies.
He is also a professor at Selinus University Commonwealth of Dominica lecturing and supervising student’s thesis. In addition, he is a Mentor at Texila American University Georgetown where he shares with his mentee information about their career path, as well as provides them with guidance, motivation, emotional support, and role modeling. As a Mentor, he helps students with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts, and identifying resources that will guide and direct them to develop into successful professionals.
He was a lecturer at University of the People USA where he taught masters and PhD students. He has again worked with many educational institutions and companies like Federal College of Education (Kano) Nigeria, Lawal Aliyu Academy Nigeria, Nagari Hospital Nigeria, Laluco Contractors Limited Nigeria, Laluco Nig Ltd Nigeria, Union Bank Plc Nigeria and he was an Adviser to two (2) Executive Governors of Kaduna state, Nigeria in 2008 and 2015 consecutively.
Umar Lawal Aliyu also has tremendous experience in working with several publication companies and journals of different parts of the world. He has been editing and publishing artlessly on diverse fields of studies like management, commerce, banking, finance, economics, marketing, social studies, public administration, development studies, strategic management, organizational leadership, criminology, and security management.
He has a Diploma in Banking, Diploma in Computer Data Processing, Higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance, Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance, Post Graduate Diploma in Criminology and Security Studies, Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance, and PhD in Management.
He has actively done several presentations, written 21 books, and done over 50 publications in both National/International journals. He is also an Editor/Reviewer with over 70 National and International journals from different parts of the world. He has received over 20 Certificates of Merits and Awards including Ambassador of Peace, and Unity awarded to him by the Nigeria House of Representatives.
He has over 30 year’s teaching and non-teaching experience. He constantly renews himself as a professional on a quest to provide people with a sense of leadership to assume great leadership roles and responsibilities. His goals are to make people develop a passion to learn because knowledge is power and the passport to today and the future.
